to be honest, the 'why' wasn't intentionally left out.
but now that i look back on the post, i know why.
perhaps it is the fact that 'the truth' is rather apparent to me. i found out long ago. but it's something that is very close to my heart and has alot to do with my being a Catholic. it is because of this understanding of the 'why' that has kept me sane. and i agree with you that the 'why' is the core of everything. if we all did not have our own reasons for living, doing, breathing, we would simply be empty vessels.

thank you very much for pointing out the missing why. i just learnt something today. something i'm very grateful for.

I'm curious about the reasons that made you left out the 'why'.

To me, the 'why' is the truth, the real thing. It defines the reason for our existence, our aims, ends, and objectives we head towards. Understanding the 'why' shapes the who, what, where, when and the how.

The 'why' is the core of the issue, the heart-of-hearts; all the rest touch only the surface, and they are no more than the outward manisfestations of the truth.
